Vintage & Vine, the fine wine and food festival, is an annual fundraiser championed by the Board of Trustees. Sample wonderful wines and savor the culinary delights of chefs, caterers, and restaurant partners while strolling the historic grounds and gardens of Strawbery Banke Museum. Curated wine selections pay homage to maritime details, historic houses, and more, adding a layer of historical richness to the tasting experience.

General Admission - 50% of Tickets Left!
Stroll amongst the historic houses and gardens, sampling wines offered by local wine brokers and enjoying appetizers prepared by top chefs from 5-7:30 PM. Your ticket also includes a commemorative wine glass to take home

VIP Admission - 25% of Tickets Left!
Enjoy sampling higher-end wines paired with delectable hors d’oeuvres under the exclusive VIP Reserve Tent. VIP ticket holders can circulate the entire site from 4 PM to 7:30 PM. Your VIP ticket also includes a welcome prosecco toast and a commemorative wine glass to take home.

We kindly ask for your understanding that our parking lot is limited in size and is reserved during Vintage & Vine for attendees with handicap accessible placards only. Additional parking information can be found under ‘Logistics and Parking.’ Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

  • No. The historic houses are not open during Vintage & Vine, as food and beverage are not permitted inside the houses. Please come back during the season to tour the houses and experience all that Strawbery Banke has to offer. Click here to plan a Museum visit.

  • For Vintage & Vine at Strawbery Banke, there isn't a strict dress code, but attire often varies depending on the weather. Many attendees opt for sundresses or slacks.

    Since the event spans the Museum's grounds with grass and gravel areas. e advise against stilettos; if heels are preferred, a block or thicker heel is preferable. Note that the grounds can have large puddles or be muddy if it has rained recently.

TICKETS AND RESERVATIONS:

  • Yes. All attendees must be at least 21 years of age or older.

  • Yes. All attendees are required to show a valid ID upon check-in.

  • To purchase tickets for Vintage & Vine, purchase online via the Museum website or call 603.433.1100. Online ticketing is available for convenience, allowing you to select preferred timeslots and purchase directly. Tickets may also be available for purchase on-site the day-of the event, depending on availability.

  • At this time, library passes are not able to be used for Vintage & Vine tickets.

    Passes obtained from local libraries that participate in Strawbery Banke’s Library Membership may be used to for the following programs and events:

  • Vintage & Vine tickets are non-refundable. Tickets are transferrable. Simply, give the paper ticket or forward the e-ticket to whomever will be attending the event. Note that all attendees MUST be at least 21 years of age or older.

  • Strawbery Banke Museum uses Altru as a ticketing platform. The fastest way to find your tickets is to search your inbox for an email from “Strawbery Banke Museum.” Your tickets are available as a link in the email. If for some reason you did not receive your tickets via email, please contact Strawbery Banke via sregan@sbmuseum.org or 603.241.1644

  • You’re welcome to print your tickets or show e-tickets on your phone.

LOGISTICS AND PARKING:

  • There is NO ON-SITE PARKING for the Vintage & Vine as it is reserved for those with handicap-accessible plates or hangtags only.

    Visitors are encouraged to try nearby off-site parking options, including Portsmouth's two parking garages:

  • No. You are able to enter the event at any time during the event window.

  • Strawbery Banke aims to accommodate all visitors. Accessible pathways and accommodations are available throughout the event, although the grounds may be challenging to navigate. For detailed accessibility information and to plan your visit, please visit our Accessibility Information page.

FOOD, BEVERAGE, AND PHOTOGRAPHY

  • Yes. Your ticket to Vintage & Vine allows you access to sample wonderful wines and savor the culinary delights of chefs, caterers, and restaurant partners.

  • Photography and videography for personal use is permitted during Vintage & Vine. However, Strawbery Banke reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to withhold and withdraw permission to photograph and/or film on its premises or reproduce photographs of objects in the collections. Flash photography is not permitted inside any of the historic houses.

    Commercial, special photography, and filming arrangements MUST obtain prior approval from the Museum before any photography or filming can occur. Click here to learn more about how to submit a project request.

ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS:

  • Vintage & Vine occurs rain or shine. It is recommended that visitors wear rainboots or waterproof footwear if it has rained as there may be puddles on the walk around the site.

  • Dogs and other pets are not permitted on the Museum grounds when the Museum is open for special events such as Vintage & Vine.

    Service dogs, as defined by the ADA, are welcome.

  • Yes! The support of numerous volunteers is critical to the success of Vintage & Vine. A variety of opportunities are available.
